It doesn’t look like much from the outside, and the inside decor is more like a cafe than a restaurant – but don’t be fooled. Taqueria at Westbourne Grove in London (a newly discovered favorite neighbourhood of mine in Notting Hill) serves the best mexican food I ever had! It’s nothing like the heavy Tex Mex kitchen found in most mexican restaurants in Europe, but fresh, delicious and using spices and ingredients I didn’t know was used in the mexican kitchen. Like Coriander for example. Check out the mouth-watering menu here. I can especially recommend the fried fish! It’s a 10 minutes walk from Notting Hill Gate station. Check out directions here.
